Great results for the band in Jakarta 2015 with 1st & 3rd place in open piping, 1st in Piobaireachd and 2rd in South East Asian Piping. Our drummer placed 2nd in open drumming and our mini-band won in band competition (click here for Video)
Nansha Bay International Boat Show (2013)
On behalf of the Shanghai Scots I wanted to send a mail to thank Chris and Thomas for their contribution to making the Burns Supper on Saturday night a resounding success.
I have been bombarded with messages and calls from people saying not just how much they enjoyed the party but how our mini band set was one of the major highlights of the night.
Both Chris and Thomas were highly professional, enthusiastic and they clearly share a huge passion for playing the pipes which was infectious. They were a credit to themselves and to the RHKYC Pipe Band. You are lucky to have them in your ranks.

"Please pass on my congratulation to the lads and lass on their achievements on the weekend. Please, also, thank them for their co-operation and professionalism, which helped make my weekend go without a hitch.
We have a Music Board meeting later today, at which the grading [Grade 3] recommendations will be endorsed. When the minutes have been prepared I will send them to the Australian Association and to the RSPBA. In the meantime, your band, or any of the soloists can claim grading through the PBAS and we will endorse any enquiry from another association."
